Pakistan Needs Our Help
A friend in Youth With A Mission (YWAM) England has sent out an appeal for supporting the ongoing relief efforts following the devastatiing earthquake in Pakistan. UN Relief Coordinator Jan Egeland has said, “This disaster is worse than the Tsunami.”
The South Asian earthquake has killed thousands and put millions at risk of death from exposure. The world is still waking up to the scale of the tragedy. Supplies are only slowly reaching the injured and homeless survivors. Three weeks on, many easily accessed villages still need aid to enable them to survive the bitter winter that is coming. YWAM has been operating on the ground since the day of the quake.
I challenge you to take the following steps:
1) Download the YWAM flyer (PDF)
2) Post it at your church, make copies to pass around, etc.
3) Support YWAM's efforts through your prayers and personal financial gifts.
