Pray for Billy

Everybody is blogging about my boss, Billy Graham, who is starting a 3-day Crusade in New York City tonight. I thought I'd better blog something quick also, before I head to D.C.

I really appreciate Brother Maynard's description of Mr. Graham: "extraordinary humility, exhibiting quite a generous orthodoxy."

Thanks also to Andrew Jones for mentioning me in the same "breathe" as Mr. Graham and former Senior Crusade Director Scott Lenning. Both great men of God whom I admire.

Please pray for Billy (and everyone from BGEA) in New York City for this weekend's Crusade. Most of all, pray that God uses this Crusade—most likely Billy's last event of this kind—to draw people to Jesus. Pray also for me and my family as I prepare to go to Chisinau, Moldova, in a couple of weeks for Franklin Graham's next Crusade.

UPDATE 6/25/05: The first update from New York has been posted. Jeremy Del Rio's been very involved in the youth outreach aspect of the NYCrusade, and he's got a blog post from the first night with links to numerous media outlets that are covering the event.

UPDATE 6/27/05: The final wrap-up report has now been posted. We're also working on a photo gallery of the Crusade, so watch for that coming soon.
