Another "Jesus Movement"?
I feel like the recent conversion of ex-Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch could be a sign of another "Jesus Movement." Even his baptism today in Israel's Jordan River garnered international media attention. Welch is quoted in the AP story saying, "[God]'s going to use me to heal people and people are going to be drawn to it, just watch, they will be." If you listen to his testimony (available in MP3 on his website), you know those are not words of pride or arrogance. I believe it's genuine faith, and I pray that God will do it. And it doesn't hurt that Welch looks a little like Jesus himself.

Steve, You wrote "And it doesn't hurt that Welch looks a little like Jesus himself." But no one knows what Jesus looked like. However, based on His Word, He could not have looked like Brian Welch:

Good point, Steve B.
Of course what I meant was "Welch looks like the stereotypical white Jesus of the American evangelical church" -- not the actual Jesus -- because, as you say, nobody knows what Jesus actually looked like.
