'Round these parts (Central Florida or more specifically, my back yard!) we have problems with armadillos. Those suckers dig holes but all the dirt is up on the side of the hole. They can be deep, but they don't go anywhere. They are digging usually for chinch bugs. Kill the bugs and the holes disappear because the dillos can't find food.

i googled them. aww.. how cute. keep them as pets. here we're on the lookout for the nutria. google that and count your blessings.
