NAE Statement: Intelligent Analysis Now Available!
For anyone looking for intelligent analysis of the NAE statement on "civic engagement" (not my inane, surface-level blabbering), I highly recommend you spend some time with my old youth group friend David, a.k.a. The Anti-Manicheist. You'll be glad ya did.

I'm kind of surprised this topic hasn't gotten more feedback/interaction.
Have people been too busy watching Spiderman II?
****Spoiler****
I thought the ending was too happy. They needed a scene where Harry sees Peter swing by and crushes in his hand a picture of him, MJ and Peter together. There was too much time between when Harry is revealed as destined to take up his father's mantle and the end. And Aunt May's speech went too long. And am I the only one who finds the complete loss of his powers due to psychological reasons in Peter as a bit over the top? I mean the little girl he rescued had to help him get up onto the ledge and then when he had to save MJ from Doc Ock, his sight all of a sudden got really good again. Psychology doesn't undo all the effects from having one's dna interwoven with spider-dna.

I saw Spidey 2 a second time on Saturday and enjoyed it more. I think I was in a weird funk on Friday.
Anyways, thought I'd let Knight's readers know that I have a link to an article where Kerry talks about his personal beliefs about abortion and then I talk about how deadlock on this issue could be cleared if the issue was reframed and both sides accepted certain "facts" and I go over my own proposed idea for how we may redefine when human personhood begins.
Just click the dlw.
