Art4Soul
Andy Wright (Fibyr.com) sent me a link today to this interesting spiritual art project site called Art4Soul. According to the site:
Art4Soul is a community of designers, writers and other creative professionals committed to the offering of outstanding design for spiritual renewal.
These guys (and gals) are apparently based in Malaysia and have done a related art installation called "Man+God" which has appeared in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore. The exhibit was "put together by a team of various faiths and traditions" and "re-examines an ancient question in a new way at a crucial time." That ancient question, as the website explains, is really several questions: "Does God exist? Or is He just the desperate invention of a humankind in trouble? And if God does exist, what is he or she like?"
I think the Art4Soul site is intriguing and the "Man+God" project looks compelling. Plus they've got super-cool posters (like this) and T-shirts (like the one the guy is wearing, above). Too bad they've only got distributors in Asia! Maybe YouWorkForThem will pick their stuff up (hint, hint).
